About Me

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Sports Nutritionist, I have performed over 28,000 therapy hours, and am also certified by the Colorado Courts as expert testimony in medical cases.

As a medical massage therapist, I am a results-based therapist.  If you have a medical condition, whether diagnosed or suspected, I have dedicated my career to understand and treat those conditions.  I treat conditions from Neuropathy to Sciatica and Lumbar compression to Cervical Injuries, I understand soft tissue damage and how it affects the nervous system and skeletal structure.

Having been involved in two automobile accidents that led to cervical injuries, I have had to rely on my training to overcome the crippling effects of my injuries and I know the long hard path to recovery.  If you are looking for a fresh opinion of your acute injury or chronic pain, I am here to help.

Nutrition

Nutrition plays an important role in massage therapy, as proper nourishment is essential for recovery and optimal wellness. My nutritional advise is designed to meet the four basic needs for proper nutritional support.

Multivitamin

Multivitamins help to fill in the gaps of nutrients you are missing in your daily food intake.  It helps to boost your immune system and promote overall health.  I prefer a liquid multivitamin as it promotes better cellular absorption.

Protein

Protein is vital for muscle recovery and repair.  Of course intake varies, but a rule of thumb is half your body weight in grams of protein.  The more active you are the more protein your body requires.  It may be hard to obtain enough protein without exceeding you daily calorie intake.  This is why most people need a protein supplement powder.

Omega 3

Omega 3 is a proper fatty acid that your cells need to reduce inflammation and other vital cellular functions.  Two highly effective forms of Omega 3 are Krill Oil and Avocados.  Keep in mind that your brain receives better blood flow and hydration with the presence of Omega 3.

Electrolyte

Hydration is vital to overall health.  Water is a great source of hydration for brain and organ cells.  Electrolytes on the other hand deliver hydration to the nervous system which is vital for muscle contractions.  A rule of thumb if half you body weight in Oz of water with at least one serving of electrolytes.  A good source of electrolytes is Coconut Water.
